New Oncologist Proud to Serve the Community

Hematologist and medical oncologist Yelena Krijanosvski, M.D., has joined Solano Regional Medical Group (SRMG), the multispecialty doctors’ group affiliated with Sutter Regional Medical Foundation. She is now seeing patients through the Oncology Department in Fairfield and Vacaville.

Physician Background
Dr. Krijanovski earned her medical degree from Russian State Medical University in Moscow, Russia. Upon graduation she entered residency and then Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/ Bone Marrow Transplant fellowship conducted at Moscow City Children’s Hospital in Russia. She started her research at the Harvard Institutes of Medicine in Boston and went on to become a research fellow at the Department of Internal Medicine Hematology / Oncology Division, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. There she was working in Hemostasis/Thrombosis field. She finished her residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and worked at the same hospital as a part of a hospitalists group, Huron Valley Hospitalist.

Prior to joining Solano Regional Medical Group, Dr. Krijanovski had been a Fellow for three years at the University of Michigan, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology / Oncology, Michigan where her research was in Hematologic Malignancies.

Dr. Krijanovski is enthusiastic about providing quality, evidence-based oncologic and hematologic care with commitment and compassion as part of a multispecialty doctors’ group. "The most important service we can provide to our patients is helping them understand the nature of their illness," says Dr. Krijanovski. "We do this by explaining the realistic goals and choices they have and by helping them decide their own best treatment."

In her spare time she enjoys with her husband and two boys playing tennis, hiking and mountain skiing.
