The Women's Services You Need Under One Roof

At Sutter Regional Medical Foundation (SRMF), we know how many different appointments women need to stay healthy. So instead of making you travel from doctor’s office to doctor’s office, we’ve put our women’s health services in one convenient location. Whether you’re closer to the Fairfield or Vacaville care center, you can find everything you need in either place. You also have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic services and outpatient surgery at the Sutter Fairfield Medical Campus at Low Court.

Caring for Women of All Ages
Physicians and nurse practitioners provide care for all women, from adolescents to senior citizens. Services include digital mammography, breast MRI, bone densitometry, ultrasound and urogynecology (surgical) procedures. The SRMF team wants to ensure that women understand which procedures are right for them and then make it as easy as possible to get the necessary preventive care or treatment. “Early detection is always key with respect to cancer and other health issues that can become life-threatening without proper treatment,” says Samuel Santoro, D.O., an OB/GYN and president of Solano Regional Medical Group, the only multispecialty medical group in Solano County accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality. “It’s been proven time and time again that what you don’t know can hurt you.”

    Offering a Variety of Services
To help women take control of their health, SRMF’s services for women include:

  • Basic and advanced gynecology procedures
  • Basic infertility services
  • Birth control counseling
  • Family-planning counseling
  • Low- and high-risk obstetrics
  • Perimenopause and menopause counseling
  • STD prevention counseling

SRMF also uses the latest technology for gynecological surgery. Laparoscopic surgery, which is less invasive than traditional methods, is used when possible. Patients who are candidates for this state-of-the-art procedure have less pain and a faster recovery.

    Putting Women at Ease
“We focus on each individual woman’s needs, and we’re very sensitive to the fact that some women are uncomfortable or even embarrassed during procedures like Pap tests,” says Dr. Santoro. “It’s our job to make them feel at ease and remind them of why they’re there. The benefits—getting a clean bill of health or learning about a condition early on—far outweigh any short-term is comfort.” Women may find themselves more at ease in the “women centered” section at Low Court. It features a separate entrance and registration area, as well as private dressing and waiting areas. The services provided in this area include mammography, bone densitometry and ultrasound. In addition to respecting female patients, the SRMF team also offers them education, preventive screening procedures and state-of-the-art treatment for long-term good health.

Our women’s services are located at three convenient locations throughout Solano County. Call 707-427-4900 for more information.
